In 1968 Steve was drafted into the Army, during the Vietnam War, but was stationed in Albuquerque. He came to appreciate the region, but didn’t return until 1979. He spent some time photographing the quirky, the normal, and the odd that was New Mexico. Many of these images are from Albuquerque.
